We have been commemorating the Stonewall riots in New York with our PRIDE socks since 2019. BE PROUD! BE TRUE!!
Also known as the Stonewall Riot or Stonewall Rebellion, these were a series of spontaneous, violent demonstrations by members of the gay (LGBT) community against a police raid in the early hours of June 28, 1969 at the Stonewall Inn in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan, New York city. It is widely considered to be the main event leading up to the homosexual liberation movement and the modern struggle for LGBTQ rights in the United States.
In the design of the rainbow, these socks are of course also ideal for the next CSD or the queer party scene worldwide!
